Do what you love, Love what you do

Jasmine Brown, also known as Jazz B. Fit, is the definition of a Millennial Boss. She is a serial entrepreneur who is using social media as her vehicle, to take health and fitness to new heights. Her social media platforms are tailored to her fitness routines, love for helping others, and nutritional preferences.

She has the ability to show her clients that they can be healthy and have fun while doing it. The brand Get Fit With Jazz is designed to help women accomplish their goals by aligning their mind, body, and spirit.

In September 2017, she became a personal trainer and fitness instructor for North Carolina A&T State University’s Campus Recreational Center. This led to more exposure and her infamous Get Fit With Jazz workout classes. These classes soon led to a multitude of peers wanting to achieve their fitness goals and have fun while doing it. Soon these sessions would have a DJ as it continued to grow in size.

Jasmine graduated in December of 2019 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. Before discovering her true passion, she went into college as a Pre Med Biology student, with dreams of becoming an Oral and Maxillofacial Dentist. Although this was a great accomplishment, she realized she wanted to really help others feel comfortable in the skin they’re in.

In January 2020, Jasmine completely tore her ACL in a flag football tournament. This left her to truly align her mind and spirit. These steps were important in order to keep her faith in knowing that God was not done with her. Although she was physically unable to exercise in the gym, she worked hard in her physical therapy sessions. During this time, she began developing home workouts, online training plans, and fitness challenges, where she offered cash prizes to the winners.

In that hardest time, she never gave up on the promises of God or her love for helping others. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, gyms were closing all over the country. Online training became one of the only options for connecting with clients. Luckily for Jasmine, she already had plans in place. This outbreak also reduced the number of surgeries performed worldwide. Brown still has not had surgery, yet she is still killing everything she touches.

When March of 2020 came around, Jasmine started her live home workouts. She states,  “I was truly scared and nervous about working out on my knee. I knew I had a full range of motion, but I was scared I would potentially injury it more. I decided that I didn’t want to be scared anymore. I made the decision to make my faith bigger than my fear. I went for it and I never looked back.”

In this industry, it’s important to practice what you preach. Transparency is key and allows you to connect with others on a deeper level.

She has not only overcome the physical obstacle at hand, but she has found an opportunity to connect with more clients in a massive way. Get Fit WIth Jazz provides virtual online-based training and subscription plans and services including wellness coaching, personal coaching, group exercise, gym, and home-based workout plans.
